S3U Fuel or Water Tank Sensors

Length Measurement: Sending Unit length should be a minimum of one (1) inch less than the plastic tank depth, and three quarters (0.75) of an inch less than the metal tank depth. Note: If metal tank  surface flexes, deduct one (1) inch from the depth. (like plastic tank)

Lengths Available: Four (4”) through sixty (60”) inches, with one (1”) inch increments. S3U & S5U sending unit lengths, are measured from the top of the threads to probe tip. If you don't see your required size, click on the down arrow next to the closest size to your requirement.

Material: 316 Type Stainless Steel and operate on a vertical plane (no float arm).

Mounting Method: 1.25” BSP, straight, male, British thread that seals with an “O” ring (used mostly for European applications, see adapters.) 240 – 30 ohm operation

Adapters: FL2-WE: P/N 163010 @ $4.00 each. Use on sender model S3U. Converts British 1.25” BSP mount to standard American SAE-5 hole mount (2.125” bolt circle), or larger European 5-hole mount pattern.
